A declaration of love

Circus is for everyone
The inclusive nature of circus has always been its strength. Circus works like a magnet for extraordinary people and extraordinary stories. Here, pigeonholes and barriers are broken down to give imagination free rein. In this way, stories can be told that are accessible to everyone, in which everyone can identify, and in which you may discover how special people and their stories are.
Circus is dehydrating
Circus is angry. Circus is funny. Circus is heartbreaking. Circus is weird. Artists tell the most exciting, moving, funny and bizarre stories with their bodies. So it is not strange to lose some body fluids during a performance. This can be tears, sweat from the tension or because you are laughing out loud. So drink plenty before the show.

Circus smells amazing
It smells incredible – a mixture of sweat, stifled grass and campfire. This unique eau de circologne, spiced with excitement and sensation, is one you’ll want to take home with you.
Circus feels magical
We all know that magic does not exist, but the circus can make us forget this for a moment. Circus performers show us that with imagination, courage and determination, the impossible becomes possible and the unthinkable becomes conceivable. Thus we are momentarily transported to a world where imagination has more to say than gravity. That feeling, call it magic, gives us butterflies in our stomachs every time.

Circus is an experience
Circus cannot be captured on a smartphone or transmitted through an app. Circus must be experienced. Preferably with open mouth and barred eyes. Circus is a packed gallery holding their breath. That half-second silence before landing. The applause is effusive. A collective laugh. And then the murmurs by the campfire and clinking of toasting glasses.
Circus is insane
Circus does not like the safe way. Every day circus performers brave risks to push their artistic and physical limits. There are few art forms where your two broken wrists can be traced back to your artistic aspirations. And it is precisely this madness that we find insane.

7. Circus is incredibly exciting
The electrical energy. The unpredictability. The collective silence in a tent before the applause. Circus is incredibly exciting in many ways and we can’t get enough. If Circus was a blood-curdling movie, we would watch it every day.
Circus is always in motion
Circus is: dance, water ballet, floor acrobatics, motorbike riding, bouncing, cycling, magic, kung fu, bananas, drag, clowning, break dancing, cabaret, and a thousand other things. Circus is so diverse that it is almost impossible to capture it in a single sentence. And that is exactly why we love circus. It is always in motion, changing form and content, making it unpredictable and never boring. We are already looking forward to the circus of 2045.

Circus is a universal language
Most circus performers don’t need any words to tell their story. They do it with their bodies. The most complex stories are put into comprehensible form with their hands, feet and other limbs. All over the world, people are trying to keep balls high or climb on top of each other. As a result, circus is perhaps the most accessible art form.
Circus is romantic
Circus artists personify the contemporary romance of the open road. We love the remarkable personalities and energy of circus performers. Circus performers are the embodiment of the romantic traveller’s life. They travel from place to place, living from day to day. They put on their own shows and (sometimes) build their own tents. We are proud to be one of these stopovers for these artistic nomads on their journey to new destinations.
